Sørlig unisentrisk art i Skandinavia. I Norge i fjellet nord til Nord-Trøndelag. I Sverige forekommer den bare i Jämtland og Härjedalen. Ellers i Alpene og Karpatene, på Novaja Semlja, i Uralfjellene, i  arktiske Sibir, i Sentral-Asias fjell sør til Himalaya, i Øst-Sibir sør til Kamtsjatka og Sakhalin, og i Alaska og vestre Canada. Også funnet på Hokkaido i Japan og et par steder i Rocky Mountains i USA.
