  • Reinsdyret ved Smelthytta, Rørosmuseet. Statuen er til minne om den velkjente historien om reinsdyret som skal ha sparket unna mosen, slik at Hans Olsen Aasen fant malmstenen i Storvola. Statuen er en gave fra Røros Sparebank ved bankens 125 års-jubileum og ble avduka 13. august i 1967. Kunstneren er Skule Waksvik.  Statuen har denne inskripsjonen:<br />

  • «Bergstadens Ziir» – best kjent som Røros kirke, ble bygd i kobberverkets glanstid «til Guds ære og bergstadens pryd». Kirken, som sto ferdig i 1784, bærer navnet med rette der den troner majestetisk over trehusene. Den åttekantet kirka ligger øverst i Kjerkgata og er sognekirke i Røros sogn i Gauldal prosti, Nidaros bispedømme. Riksantikvaren regner kirken som en av de ti mest profilerte kirkene i Norge. Den er en av landets største med sine 1 600 sitteplasser. <br />

Over inngangsdøra til kirken står det: «Til Guds Ære og Bergstadens Ziir». Ziir betyr pryd, og denne betegnelsen har gitt kirken dets kallenavn. Kirken er reist etter tegninger av Peter Leonard Neumann og ble innviet 15. august 1784. Kirken var stengt i 2008 - 2010 pga. restaurering, og ble gjenåpnet med festgudstjeneste 12. desember 2011. Et nytt orgel fra orgelbygger Ryde og Berg ble første gang brukt juleaften 2012, og offisielt innviet 5. januar 2013

  • Røros kirke, eller Bergstadens Ziir er en langstrakt åttekantet kirke[1] fra 1784 i Røros kommune i Sør-Trøndelag fylke. Den ligger øverst i Kjerkgata i Røros og er sognekirke i Røros sogn i Gauldal prosti, Nidaros bispedømme.<br />
Dette er Norges femte største kirkebygg og regnes blant de ti viktigste kirkebyggene i landet etter reformasjonen og et av landets viktigste kulturminner. Over inngangsdøra til kirken står det: «Til Guds Ære og Bergstadens Ziir». Ziir betyr pryd, og denne betegnelsen har følgelig gitt kirken dets tilnavn. Kirken ble innviet 15. august 1784.[3] Det er usikkert hvem som sto for utforming av bygget. Murmester Peter Leonard Neumann, direktør Peder Hiorth og byggmester Peder Ellingsen medvirket på ulike måter. Blant de som var med i arbeidsstokken finner man blant annet Svend Aspaas som arbeidsformann. <br />
Røros Kobberverk bekostet kirken, og verkets merke, kobbersymbolet over bergjern og feisel, ble satt på tre av sidene på tårnveggen. Det kan bemerkes at gruveredskapene er lagt feil - skaftet til hammeren (bergjernet) peker mot venstre, mens en bergmann normalt ville holdt dette i høyre hånd og feiselen i venstre (hammeren slås på feiselen). Kirken tilhørte kobberverkets «partisipanter» til 1865. Kirken har gallerier med lukkede sittplasser (pulpiturer) skjermet gardin mot resten kirkerommet. <br />
Den hvitkalkede steinkirken hever seg over alle andre bygg på Røros. Den har omkring 1600 sitteplasser. Den største kirkeklokken er støpt i Amsterdam i 1730 og veier 900 kg. Kirken har 3 klokker og 2 orgler, det eldste orgelet fra omkring 1700. Bygget avviket fra tradisjonen ved at hovedinngangen er orientert mot sørøst mens kor med alter er i nordvestlig ende. I andre enden av kirkegården står Røros kapell, en rund stenbygning som brukes både som gravkapell og til konserter og gudstjenester. På Røros kirkegård er forfatteren Johan Falkberget gravlagt. <br />
