Sami drum - runebomme from Vardø

Copy of a sami drum from the 17th century (1600-tallet), from Vardø. Most of the sami drums were burned or otherwise destroyed. Only 70 still exist. The original Vardø-drum is the only existing drum from the Finnmark county of Norway, and it belong to the Nationalmuseet in Copenhagen.
