Patrick set about his missionary business. Over the next 30 years Patrick converted the Irish to Christianity. He died at Saul in 461 and was buried in Downpatrick. The Troubles, between the late 1960?s and 1998, divided the nation, mainly between Nationalist Catholics and Unionist Protestants. Now both the city and the country is more back to normal.
