Selbustrikk er en 150 år gammel tradisjon fra bygda Selbu. Selbu knitting can be traced to a single individual; Marit Emstad, a teenage girl knitting while watching the cows graze the hills in summer. Selbu knitting was done for export. Many of the old knitters have passed away, but there are still about hundred knitting professionally in Selbu. Selbu Ullspinneri.
