6000 år gamle helleristninger, Stykket i Stadsbygda, Rissa på Fosen i Sør-Trøndelag. Helleristningsfeltet består av ristninger av elg. Fem store elgfigurer er risset inn i bergveggen, sannsynligvis i begynnelsen av yngre steinalder (år 4 000 - 2 000 f.Kr.)
Stykket petroglyph site in Stadsbygd, Rissa. All the figures on the panel are distincktly elks. The petroglyphs are dated to the beginning of Late Stone Age (4000-2000 BC). Rock engravings have often been ascribed magical forces, capturing the animal's spirit, luring it to the hunter and favourable hunting spaces. Elks and other cervids dominate most panels in Central Norway.
