Jens Johannessen is one of the most famous contemporary artists in Norway. The painter have had many important exhibitions in Norway and other countries. These images show a major work done in the village were he grew up, at Selbu videregående skole (high school).

Ludmila Pawlowska work somewhere between painting and sculpture, or three dimensional paintings. Her exhibition "Beautiful" is presenting 150 works in different locations in Selbu, outside Trondheim in Norway, 29 May - 29. July 2014. The medieval Selbu Church is one of the locations. Pawlowska lives in Sweden.

Trondheim Electronic Arts Centre (TEKS) arranges Norway's most extensive biennial for art and technology for the second time, September 27 - October 28, 2012, with the subtitle 'A Matter of Feeling'.
