The arctic fox is a critically endangered spieces in Scandinavia, with maybe no more than 50 individuals left in Norway, a few more in Sweden, and almost none in Finland. In 2005 the norwegian government and scientists started a breeding program with wild animals. In 2010 this was specialy successfull and 69 young ones will this winter be released in the wild. Supported with feeding.
